Buckingham Park has partnered with the Aylesbury Foodbank for a number of years as a referral agency. This means that parents or members of the public can contact school staff to request support from the foodbank at times of need.

Since 2016, the foodbank has supported over 55000 local people and provided over 480,000 meals!

Food parcels can be collected on Monday afternoons between 13:00 and 14:45 from the Buckingham Park Community Centre or from 7 other sites across Aylesbury. More information about the sites can be found here.

To obtain food from any of the Centres you will need a "Food Voucher". You can get these at most locations or you can obtain one from over 40 referral agencies in the area including here at the school.

If you unable to access a voucher please contact Buckinghamshire Council Helping Hands Team either at https://www.buckscc.gov.uk/services/business-and-benefits/apply-for-local-emergency-support/
or ring 01296 531 151 during office hours, or on their out of hours number in an emergency on 0800 999 7677.

You can request support in the following ways:
  • Face to Face - mornings on the Parent Information Point or afternoons on the playground. A request for something such as a 'quiet word' will be enough for our staff to find convenient time to meet you to discuss your concerns.
  • Via Telephone - 01296 415687 and then option 3 for our Pastoral Team
  • Via email at [email protected]. This email address and phone line are only manned by our safeguarding team who operate on a strict confidential understanding.
  • Via the 'Request Support' form through the wellbeing and family support section of our website.
