Football Update.

Mixed fortunes this week for our Boys and Girls football team, sadly!

The boys played very well, but ultimately lost 5-0 to Green Ridge this week. It was a very close first half, but the tie got away from Buckingham Park in the second half. 

Our Year 5/6 Girls Football Team were out in action yesterday after school. They travelled to St Mary's in Fairford Leys to play in an intense match as this was the team they had beaten earlier in the year in the Cup Competition on penalties.  They were out for revenge and certainly started off strong scoring early on in the match to take the lead 1-0. Our girls were not going to let this get them down and fought straight back levelling the game with a super strike in by Beau. Grace was awarded player of the match. Our team will be out in action again next Thursday when they play in the ¼ final of the Cup Competition.
