Governor Announcement and Recruitment

3/2/2026

I am happy to announce that Regina Ichim, parent of two children at the school has been elected as a new Foundation Governor at the school by the Diocese of Oxford. I am sure you will welcome Regina onto the Governing Board.

Foundation Governors are an incredibly important part of the running of our school - governors with a foundation in the Church or other religious institution.

We currently have further vacancies for Foundation Governors who might wish to be involved in the governance and strategic decision making process at the school.

Foundation governors are individuals appointed to the governing bodies of Church schools, to uphold the school's religious character and ethos. This means that in order to qualify, you must have some affiliation with a church or other religious body and would have to a form completed and signed by a priest, vicar or religious leader who would be able to sign to show your attendance or support of your Church. The role will help to support the Christian ethos of the school, but also to support the wider finances and strategic direction of the school.

Applications can be welcomed from anyone - parents, carers, grandparents, neighbours or family or friends who have some religious affiliation.

There is a time commitment to this voluntary role - a few hours a term to attend some meetings and ad-hoc ability to visit and support the day to day running of the school.

Further information can be found here, or by contacting Mr Fell via the school office.
