Knife Crime Workshops

Year 5 and 6 were lucky enough to welcome Karen from the Safety Centre this week for some workshops on Knife Crime. The sessions explore the risks of carrying knives, the consequences of being involved in Knife Crime and the laws around knife crime. The children were taken through a ‘story’ of how a young person becomes involved in carrying a knife and explore each choice the character makes, and how this affects his life and the people around him.

These have been in place at Buckingham Park for a few years now and we hope the children got a very valuable piece of education from these.
