Mrs Ward's Maternity Leave.

19/3/2026

As you are aware, Mrs Ward will be leaving us at Easter to have her first baby! Please join me in saying congratulations and sending best wishes for all of the nappy changes and sleepless nights she has ahead!

With this in mind, I am providing below the plan for the Summer Term in 5B.

Mrs Kausar, who your children know and who worked with us earlier this year (indeed covering 5B a number of times) will be teaching the class on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. She is an experienced teacher who has worked here and in a number of other schools.

Miss Islam, who usually works in 5A, will be teaching the class on Mondays and Fridays. Miss Islam is a high quality member of the team who is hoping to train as a teacher in the coming years. She has already provided a lot of teaching within our school and the children know her and respond well to her expectations. 5A will be supported by Mrs Nicolae on a Monday and Friday.

This will mean that your children will be taught by adults familiar to them across the week for this final term before they start their journey into Year 6.

Again, please join me in wishing Mrs Ward well and let me know if there are any questions.
