Sports Days 2026

After a first cancellation, the weather Gods finally shone on us and we celebrated two amazing sports days. 

Sports days at Buckingham Park work to primarily celebrate two things - sporting achievement and participation, but also sportmanship and inclusivity. 

Both of these were on show in spades - some amazing running, throwing and jumping but also such inclusivity - children and parents cheering for everyone, listening and being respectful and making sure that all were totally included in the two busy days. 

As always, we have music and commentary and a huge thanks here needs to go to Mr Perks - who organises all of the sporting events which are so famous at Buckingham Park and to his team of Y5 and Y6 helpers, who run,  coordinate, score and officiate the events. 

Well done to all who were a part and thank you to so many parents for coming down and supporting your children and your school!
