World Book Day

9/3/2026

See below some lovely photos of our staff getting into the swing of World Book Day fancy dress last week!
Thanks to the hundreds of parents who attended and spent their money at our book fayre - every book purchased contributes money for more books for the school.

The children have had a fab couple of weeks, learning through Julia Donaldson books and loved the dress up.

One lovely parent even got in touch with the following late on Friday evening. Thanks for reaching out - this kind of thing really puts a smile on the faces of the staff!

Good evening,

A well-deserved compliment to everyone at Buckingham Park.

It was so lovely to see the children happy, safe, and truly thriving today. The atmosphere was full of joy and confidence. The staff’s dedication really shines through — they are so invested, committed, and nurturing.

Thank you for creating such a positive, caring environment where every child can flourish.

This was clear to see today, it really made my day and made me smile.

Please pass my thanks on to all the staff who work tirelessly, who show up every day and work their hardest to keep our children happy and safe.

From very grateful mum, to one ex-student who was sent on his way for a bright future and still loves coming back to BP and my other child who has so many amazing teachers who are his biggest advocates and cheerleaders.

Thank you 😊
