Secondary School Admission and the 11+
The information below is accurate for children transferring to secondary school in September 2022.
Each Year, in around May, information will be shared with current Year 5 parents by school in relation to the secondary transfer testing process. You will be invited to an evening to discuss this and the secondary application process and you will receive a familiarisation booket from Buckinghamshire Council to help prepare your child.
All children in Buckinghamshire are automatically included in 11+ testing. Any family can withdraw consent for their child at any time by contacting the school office. If you know that your child is not academically suitable for a grammar school, or you already know which upper school you would like your child to attend, it may not be necessary for them to sit the examination.
In these circumstances, or for more information, please contact the school and ask to speak to the headteacher.
