At Buckingham Park, we have a commitment to good data protection practice and to ongoing GDPR compliance.
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) became effective on 25 May 2018. The GDPR has brought considerable changes to data protection law both in the UK and across the European Economic Area.
At Buckingham Park, we have always sought to ensure compliance with data protection law and these practices have helped us immensely in preparation for GDPR.
As part of our work towards GDPR compliance, we undertook an audit of all our data. Following this we can confirm the following:
Our Privacy Notices for pupils, parents, governors and the workforce, alongside our data protection policies, are available to download below.
We will also be renewing consent forms for use alongside our admission form for September 2019.

- We have embedded GDPR requirements into policies and day-to-day activities.
- We have implemented technical measures to ensure GDPR compliance.
- We have documented and recorded compliance measures.
- We have scheduled internal training for GDPR compliance.
