Educational Visits and Visitors

At Buckingham Park we  believe that learning should be rooted in first hand experiences and strive to ensure that our children flourish in environments that develop cultural capital and life experiences. We therefore carefully design and plan a variety of exciting educational experiences off site as well as drawing on visitors to bring exciting experiences to the classroom

We like to welcome as many visitors to our school to enhance and enrich every child's school experience. Throughout the year, we are lucky enough to have many whole school events for all to take part in. This includes weekly visits from St James Bierton Pastoral Team and St Peters Aylesbury Church Staff and a whole school Christmas Carols experience with Buckingham Lodge Care Home. Year 3 and Year 4 children take part in weekly swimming lessons and we take advantage of our local area as often as we can.

Each year group also takes part in a variety of multi-sports events both on the school site and at various local locations throughout the year.

Each year, each year group visits our link Church at St James Church in Bierton. This visit is closely linked to an area of the RE curriculum relevant to the year group.
