Children in Years 1, 2, 3 and 4
All children in Years 1 - 4 start on Monday 8th September at the usual time of 8.40am. Doors will open at 8.30am. Children should come through the playground doors - we will direct you to the correct door!
Children in Nursery
Children who attended our Nursery last term start on Tuesday 9th September.
Children who are new to our Nursery will attend one session on either Tuesday 9th or Wednesday 10th September and then will start every day from Thursday 11th September. Please refer to your induction letter to see which session your child should attend.

Children in Reception
Buckingham Park, as most schools, operates a staggered start in Reception Year to allow all children to become familiar with their new school, and to allow staff to get to know the children. The arrangements are as follows.
Monday 8th September
School closed to Reception pupils – Home visits will be scheduled for these days (for those children new to Buckingham Park)
Tuesday 9th - Wed 10th September
Children, in half-class groups, will attend either morning or afternoon session. Groups 1 and 3 in for a morning session (9.00 – 11.00am) and Groups 2 and 4 in for the afternoon session (1.15pm – 3.15pm) Please refer to your letter to check your child's group (these are the same groups as the induction day in July).
Thurs 11th - Fri 12th September
All children in, morning only (08.40am – 12.00pm). During the afternoons, we’ll continue our home visits.
Mon 15th - Wed 17th September
All children in, morning only and stay for lunch (08.40am – 1.15pm). Hot school lunches will be served from that day. During the afternoons, we’ll continue our home visits.
From Thurs 18th September
All children in full time (08.40am – 3.15pm).
