When does the term start for my child?
Please take a look below to see when your child starts back at school in September. Please look at the relevant year group.
Years 1, 2 and 3
Term starts on Thursday 5th September at 8.40am. Doors open from 8.30am.
Reception
Thurs 5th and Fri 6th September
School closed to Reception pupils – Home visits are scheduled for these days.
Please note that we have planned home visits for all those children new to Buckingham Park. If your child received a home visit when your child started in Nursery then we won't plan another home visit for you.
Monday 9th - Wed 11th September
Children, in half-class groups, will attend either morning or afternoon session. Groups 1 and 3 in for a morning session (8.40 – 11.15am) and Groups 2 and 4 in for the afternoon session (12.40pm – 3.15pm). Please check your letter to see which group your child is in.
Thurs 12th - Fri 13th September
All children in, morning only (08.40am – 12.00pm). During the afternoons, we’ll continue our home visits.
Mon 16th - Wed 18th September
All children in, morning only and stay for lunch (08.40am – 1.15pm). Hot school lunches will be served from that day. During the afternoons, we’ll continue our home visits.
From Thurs 19th September
All children in full time (08.40am – 3.15pm).
