Wellbeing and Therapeutic Provision

At Buckingham Park School, we understand that sometimes there are barriers to children making progress therefore we offer additional therapeutic support to ensure all children at our school have the opportunity to be the best that they can and flourish their full potential.

This may include ELSA (emotional literacy support) ELSA support in schools is a project designed to help schools support the emotional needs of their pupils.
ELSA acknowledges that children and young people learn best when they feel happier and their emotional needs are being addressed.
ELSA in our school is delivered by specialist members of staff including Mrs Forsdyke and Mrs Pukalska.

For children who require a higher level of therapy, we offer educational counselling through a  2CAN support. This is delivered by a trained 2CAN counsellor in school each week. For further information, click on this link http://www.2-can.org/

All children are supported by classroom staff through use of the zones of regulation building strong relationships underpinned by our Christian ethos.
