Year 2 Visit to Rectory Farm
On Thursday 28th March, Year 2 visited Rectory Farm as part of their learning about 'New Life'.
Rectory Farm, owned by George and Ann Eaton, is situated south of the village of Water Stratford. It is a 150 acre mixed farm with the main focus on livestock rearing with 550 ewes and 35 suckler cows, alongside 50 acres of arable production including wheat, winter oats and barley.
George and Ann were amazing hosts, telling us all about the farm. We were delighted to see calves and lambs that had been born that very day!
