We have an amazing group of parents who support the school at Buckingham Park. At last week’s meetings we learned that the fabulous team effort had raised the following amounts of money to support the school… Mistletoe Market and Pamper Evening: £1460.45 Parents Gift shop: £528.20 Christmas Disco: £685 School Calendars: £147 Nativity DVDs: £435 Community Christmas Fayre: £999.14 Christmas Cards: £377.80 Christmas puddings £66 That’s a total of 4698.59 for the term’s events. What a spectacular effort. A massive thank you to everyone who has supported these events and activities. This week, we are launching our new school wide ‘house’ system. Each child will be placed into one of three houses: Emerald, Sapphire or Ruby. The house names have been selected to reflect the three colours on our school logo. Children will be able to earn house points for following our school values, and also participate in events in house teams, including Sports Day. Each week, we will award the ‘House Point Trophy’ to the house with the highest number of points for that week. At the beginning of the Summer Term we will elect House Captains. Our Year 5 children will be able to put their names forward for this prestigious role. The Buckingham Park Cub Scout is having a 're-boot' with great plans to be an amazing Cub Scout Pack which will be fabulous fun and a BIG adventure.
