Heavens above! Bishop makes dedication at Church of England School

The Bishop of Oxford officially opened a new estate’s school during a tree dedication ceremony.

Right Reverend John Pritchard visited Buckingham Park School in Aylesbury on Friday.

The bishop also took in a tour of the school, met children and led a special worship time in the school’s hall.

Buckingham Park School in Jubilee Square was recently rated ‘good’ by Ofsted.

The school is affiliated with the Church of England, and provides places for children aged five to 11 with the motto ‘excellence through God who strengthens us’.

Headteacher Nick Waldron said: “We aim to provide the highest quality all round education for each and every child, in partnership with parents.”
