Breakfast Club bookings for November and December

24/10/2015

Picture
Parents may now book breakfast club sessions for November and December.

To book, log into your ParentPay account and click on 'Make a Booking'. You will need to ensure that you have 'topped up' the funds available for breakfast club in your account before making your selection of dates.

Sessions are priced at £3 which includes up to one hour of childcare and a breakfast.

Please take a look at the information which is available to download below.

Please note the following:
  • Bookings must be made at least one clear day in advance (you are not able to book on the day, or on the day before the session, because we have to plan our staffing in advance depending on the number of bookings)
  • Breakfast is served for any children arriving before 8.15am.  If children arrive after that time, they are still included in the activities but will not be able to have a breakfast (this is because we have to leave enough time for the children to eat breakfast and clear away before school starts)
  • Bookings can be changed up to the booking deadline (one clear day in advance).  After that, we are unable to give refunds for missed sessions because our staffing is based on the number of children booked at that time
  • All bookings must be made through ParentPay

If you have any questions, please just ask!

Christmas Card Project

We're taking part in a Christmas Card Project which we are undertaking in partnership with Art Projects for Schools Ltd (APFS). The funds raised through your support will be used by the PTA to benefit the children in school.
Children create a design which can be accurately reproduced in full colour onto Christmas cards that are available in packs of 12. A choice of greeting is available for inside the cards or they can be left blank, making them great gifts as note cards!

Ordering is simple! Just complete the order form sent home with your child’s artwork with your child’s name in block capitals in the boxes provided and return the artwork to the school by Thursday 5th November.  Payment must also be included and this can be by either cash or cheque made payable to Buckingham Park CE Primary School PTA.

We anticipate that the cards will be delivered to school before the end of November for your child to bring home.

Below is a copy of the letter sent home with the artwork, and a spare order form should you want to include artwork and orders from other family members.

Kaso Studios are delighted to be continuing to bring various dance styles to the school this year. The children are a pleasure to teach!

From Monday 2nd November, we would like to invite children from YEARS 1-5 to sign up for a 6 week course in An Introduction to Celtic Dance

This is a great team dance with lots of rhythmic footwork, energy and formations. It is suitable for boys as well as girls.  As always, the sessions will be a great opportunity for the children to learn teamwork, to be creative and to get rid of some energy.

The clubs operates every Monday directly after school for ALL Year groups:  3.15 - 4.10pm.

If you would like your child to be included, please read the letter below and return the slip to school.

Our Mistletoe Market and Pamper Evening takes place on Friday 13th November, 6.30pm - 9.30pm.

Indulge yourself with a beauty treatment and choose from a massage, reflexology, facial rejuvenation, threading, gel nails, manicure, Indian head massages and more. Advanced bookings are strongly recommended, though some appointments will be available on the night.

Find that exclusive gift or treat for yourself as you browse our stalls and support local sellers of jewellery, clothing, books, cards, candles, handbags, kitchenware along with different cosmetic and beauty agents.

If you don’t fancy a treatment then you could try our activity on offer. You can sit down with a specially trained florist Liz Williams and make your own wreath, be it traditional or modern, the choice and design is yours!

We will have a fabulous raffle; tickets can be purchased on the night, offering lovely prizes from our stall holders. Bar and refreshments will be available.

And... it's FREE ENTRY with a CRECHE / FILM ROOM for pupils at the school (so your children can be entertained whilst you enjoy the evening!)

If you'd like to make a booking or buy some raffle tickets, then PTA committee members will be present at Nursery am and pm pick up on Wednesday & Friday, and also at the main gates at 3.00 pm each day.
