Our Year 6 children are on a woodland adventure this week, with The Bushcraft Company at Boughton Woods. They'll be sleeping under canvas and experiencing some wonderful bushcraft activities. We look forward to receiving their updates which we'll add below. Most recent updates will be at the top. Scroll down for earlier updates. Friday 25 May, 8.00am Lots of children out in the shelters last night, despite the torrential rain which started just before 10pm! This morning is all about packing up, first aid, and an exciting 'emergency situation' to encounter. Thursday 24 May, 8.00pm Anyone for salmon? Salmon eyes?! Thursday 24 May, 4.30pm A great day so far. Knife skills - see a couple of photos below. Camo paint now on ready for the wilderness walk! Thursday 24 May, 12.00pm A big fry up for breakfast this morning! First activity of the day was 'knife skills'. Everyone is healthy and happy! Thursday 24 May, 7.30am They've made it through the night! No rain - but a very early start. A few children started the night in their self-made shelters, and a couple of girls stuck it out right into the early hours. We are sure that there will be some tired children today. It's cooler today, and the rain may arrive later! Wednesday 23 May, 6.30pm A great first day! The children have built shelters (which they are determined to sleep in!), built and lit fires (and cooked burgers on them), and learned songs and riddles. They are now getting their tents all sorted for the evening. Not many pictures because phone signal is patchy - but everyone is as happy as the boys here...! Wednesday 23 May, 11.00am Miss Anderson has sent a message to say that they've all arrived safely at Boughton Woods. Let the adventure begin! Wednesday 23 May, 9.00am They've left Buckingham Park! On their way to Boughton Woods. All looking very excited about the days ahead.

We want to thank everyone who supported our May Fayre on Saturday. For all those parents, staff, church members, friends and family who volunteered to help on the day, we are most grateful for your time, energy and generosity. We’d also like to thank everyone who attended the Fayre – thank you for supporting the school in this way. A massive thank you to the organisers – our wonderful PTA – for going above and beyond the call of duty to support the school. What a super event, with so much to do. Fun for all the family! As with all our web pages, if you or your child features in a photo and you prefer it not to be on our site, please email [email protected] and we will remove it without question.
