This is our surprise 'Glowstick Finale' to our Key Stage 1 evening performance. It was a surprise to the children (and unrehearsed!) but the children and audience had great fun 'Razzling and Dazzling'! We're so proud of our Year 1 and Year 2 children. They have told us the story of the very first Christmas with amazing acting, super singing and splendid speaking! The story is incredible - Jesus, the Son of God, is born in Bethlehem, in a stable under a star – a wonderful miracle that would change the world forever. As with all our web pages, if you or your child features in a photo and you prefer it not to be on our site, please email [email protected] and we will remove it without question.
“Extra! Extra! – Read all about it!” So read the front page of The Angel Express, announcing the birth of Jesus. The angels respond with great excitement and hastily form a choir to sing and celebrate the arrival of the newborn King. Our EYFS Christmas Production follows the excitement of heaven’s host of angels as they hurriedly practise a new song for the birth of baby Jesus – this will have to be an express production! Can the conductor prepare them in time with so many distracting headlines such as ‘Mary and Joseph Leave for Bethlehem’, ‘Enormous Star Seen In the East’ and ‘Three Kings Sighted From Afar’? Our Nursery and Reception children have done an amazing job. What a performance! As with all our web pages, if you or your child features in a photo and you prefer it not to be on our site, please email [email protected] and we will remove it without question.
We had a wonderful Christmas Lunch on Wednesday. Our lunchtime and catering staff all dressed up for the occasion and set the hall up beautifully with Christmas table cloths and music! We're grateful for all the staff giving up their lunch break to serve the children, eat with them and help to clear everything away. It is quite a task to serve over 300 Christmas dinners but our staff rose to the challenge and everyone had a delicious meal and a great time! As with all our web pages, if you or your child features in a photo and you prefer it not to be on our site, please email [email protected] and we will remove it without question.
Thank you to our wonderful group of guitarists who entertained us during Worship Time on Wednesday. We were really impressed with their performance. Some of the children had only been learning since September and are already performing on stage to a packed auditorium! As with all our web pages, if you or your child features in a photo and you prefer it not to be on our site, please email [email protected] and we will remove it without question.
