Thank you to everyone who supported the PTA Quiz Night on Friday night.   We had a really fun evening and also raised money for the PTA funds which goes to support the school.

Thanks especially to Sharon, Kelly and the PTA Committee for getting everything set up and organised, and to our wonderful Quiz Master!

Congratulations to 'May Contain Nuts' who were the winning team on the night.

Welcome Event

We want to provide the opportunity for all of our families to get to know the school better.   This week, we have an event to welcome you all into the school year.

At home time on Wednesday, we will be flinging open our doors to all our families and inviting you to come in to school.

You’ll be able to:
  • visit the classrooms and chat with staff
  • have a cup of tea in the school hall
  • taste our school food and chat to our chef and catering team
  • meet the PTA and hear about the amazing work that they do
  • speak to representatives from the Jonathan Page Centre – our after school care provider

The event will start immediately after school and you are welcome to leave at any time.  There will not be any formal presentations or meetings but this will be a very good opportunity to see your child’s class and to meet us all.

Schools are busy places with lots of staff supporting your child's learning.

It can be difficult for parents to get to know who's who so we have created a web page with photographs to help you out.  You can also download a handy grid to see who is in your child's class or phase by clicking the link below.

Universal Free School Meals for Infant Children

5/9/2014

Picture
From the beginning of this term,  every pupil in reception, year 1 and 2 will be eligible for free school meals.  We are making this really easy at Buckingham Park.  You do not need to pre-order, register, or complete any forms.  Every child will automatically be catered for.  Just come along and enjoy your meal!

We encourage as many children as possible to take up this entitlement but parents may still opt to send in a packed lunch instead.

For more information, please visit our School Meals page.
