Please apply for tickets using our online form: https://goo.gl/forms/cs2TRW34IufnYyFf2 We are really sorry that we will be unable to accommodate younger brothers and sisters or babies - We know this is difficult but our space is incredibly limited and some of our children have tiny voices (compared to the somewhat louder voices of a crying baby or unsettled infant!) Our special Christmas Lunch will be on Wednesday 14 December. We are asking all meals to be pre-ordered so that we can ensure we have enough meals for everyone.
Please note that we are asking everyone to tell us their meal choice, even if you do not need to pay, or if your child is having a packed lunch. To order, click the link below, or access the form from through our school website (news blog section). https://goo.gl/forms/RBQDf9owsFIKNChg1 We would really appreciate all responses by Tuesday – we recognise that this is a very short notice period but we have been asked for numbers (at very short notice) from our supplier. ![]() As we approach Christmas, the PTA want to give the children, once again, the opportunity to buy a Christmas present for the special adults in their life! The shop will be open during the week beginning 5 December, but we are asking that all purchases are pre-ordered, so that we can have the correct number of gifts. There will be a selection of ‘male’ and ‘female’ gifts for the children to choose from. Each present will be at a cost of £2.00. All gifts must be pre-ordered and pre-paid. Siblings can buy separate gifts or choose gifts together (see options on form below). Please complete the form in the (available below) and return it to school by Friday 18 November (THIS FRIDAY). We will not be able to accept any late orders because we will be ordering the correct number of gifts. Order forms should be placed in an envelope marked ‘Christmas Gift Shop’ and returned to school (either to the school office, at our ‘Parent Information Point’, or to your child’s class teacher. Each completed order form must be accompanied by the exact cash total or a cheque for the exact amount (cheques should be made payable to ‘Buckingham Park CE Primary School PTA). ![]()
It has been a great week for the Buckingham Park football team in our first two league games.
On Thursday 10 November, we played our opening match at Haydon Abbey School. The game finished a draw, one goal each, with Buckingham Park battling back from being a goal down. Friday 11 November, we had hosted a match against Whitchurch School. Buckingham Park scored three second half goals to win the match 3 - 0. Well done to all the team! A new course will be starting soon at Berryfields Children's Centre. The course has been tailor made to suit the needs of lone parents.
This is the opportunity for lone parents to work together with Connexions and Children’s Centre staff to achieve qualifications, guidance, benefit advice, support and enjoy a fun and relaxed experience. Children can be cared for by a Childcare provider on site. There is also support with paying for transport to and from the Children’s Centre if this is required. Please do not miss this opportunity to further your career and improve your skill sets. If you have any questions please feel free to ask, or likewise please do contact Becky on the number below. |
