![]() Our Year 6 children are set for a great adventure this week. On Wednesday morning they headed off to the Hatfield Woods woodland centre for three days of outdoor living with The Bushcraft Company. Living in the wild, sleeping under canvas and undertaking a wide range of activities, this residential visit will take our students on an unforgettable journey of self-discovery. Keep an eye on on this blog page and we’ll try and keep you updated on their adventure! Friday,11.30am The children have become 'plan crash first responders' today. ![]() As part of our ongoing link with St James, and in support of our RE curriculum, children in Year 1 visited St James' Church this morning. This was no ordinary visit - it was a very special wedding day! Two of our Year 1 children were ‘married’ (not legally of course!) and the rest of the class were family members, friends, bridesmaids and best men. The wedding was conducted by Revd Mark. What fabulous weather for a wedding! The weather didn’t stop our May Fayre. We dodged the showers, had a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities, and we had a great day! Thank you so much to everyone who helped, performed, visited and organised. We are so pleased with everyone’s support. Thank you, especially, to Sarah, Nicola and the PTA Committee members who put in so much hard work to create such a super community event. The Year 6 football team played their final game of the season today. In a closely fought game, with both teams creating lots of goal-scoring opportunities, the game ended in a 0-0 draw. There were some fine performances from the team today, including some great goalkeeping, resolute defence, and fabulous attacking moves. Our first season in the schools league has been very successful. Playing 5 games, the team won 2, drew 2 and lost just one game.
