Every year Walk to School Week brings together nearly one million school children, teachers and parents.  This year’s Walk to School Week is all about the healthy benefits of walking.

  • Walking keeps young minds alert and ready for school
  • Spending some quality time together on the walk to school develops happy relationships
  • Daily exercise keeps you fit and healthy and reduces the risk of medical conditions in later life
  • Walking means less pollution and cleaner air
  • The habit of a daily walk can encourage other healthy habits such as having a nutritious breakfast
If you don’t usually walk to school, perhaps you could make the effort to do so this week.

Our Year 2, 3 and 4 children work hard each week to move up through the levels of 'Cracking Times Tables'.  This week, Ayman and Farrah have been awarded Level 12.  This is an amazing achievement.  They have been inducted into the 'Grand Order of the Master Multiplier' with a certificate in Worship Time and a badge to proudly wear on their school uniform.  Great stuff!
