Our Breakfast Club is very popular and is a super start to the day for many of our children. Breakfast Club bookings are made through Parent Pay. As the club has grown, we are finding that we are now much more likely to have to limit our numbers and/or increase our staffing. In order to achieve this, it is important that we know how many children are coming each day well in advance. For this reason, we are now setting a 'three day exclusion' on our booking system. The Parent Pay booking deadlines are as follows:
If you miss the deadline, it may be possible to book through the school office but this will only be possible if we have remaining spaces. The only way to guarantee your booking is through Parent Pay.
Please note that we can only accept children into Breakfast Club who are pre-booked and pre-paid. As the darker evenings are here, our Year 3 children have been thinking about how to stay safe. They have thought about bright and reflective clothing. Their poster designs remind us all to be bright! There are some examples below. Our Year 5 children joined with hundreds of children from Aylesbury schools to perform at the Waterside Theatre this week. Energize is a biennial music, dance and drama extravaganza produced by the Buckinghamshire Area Education Alliance. The performances are a collaboration between schools in the Aylesbury Town area, showcasing performance excellence in theatre. 'History Matters' was written by Bucks music teacher Jane Smith, and focuses on key historical characters. Our children sang each of the songs, and also danced superbly to bring 'Boudicca' to life. Well done Year 5 - we are so proud of your amazing performances. We also want to acknowledge the incredible effort from our Year 5 staff team, and to thank parents for their support. In line with our policy, if you or your child feature in any photo and you would prefer it not to be on our website, please email the school office (office@buckinghampark.org) and we will remove it.
We've taken some time to evaluate our approach to spelling. Our new guide is below. Please do ask us if you have any questions.
