Is it a bird, is it a plane? Next month the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity (FNHC) will be holding its second Aylesbury Superhero 5k fun run, jog, walk or crawl event in Watermead on Sunday 14th October. Superheroes of all ages will be taking part in what promises to be a fantastic event for all the family.

Over 6,000 was raised for the Hospice last year, which is the equivalent of funding over 60 home visits by the Charity’s Florrie’s Children’s Team, who provide care and support to sick children and their families in the home.

Event registration costs £10 for 16 years and over, £7.50 for 2-15-year-olds and Under 2s go FREE. Entry includes refreshments and goodies on the day plus a well-deserved superhero medal. A fun warm-up will be provided by Nuffield Health, Aylesbury, prior to the launch and MIX FM’s Street Stars will be popping along on the day. Superheroes set off at 10.00am.

If you would like to find out more visit www.aylesburysuperhero.co.uk or contact the Superhero Team on 01296 429975 for an entry form.
