Buckingham Park Parish Council - Annual Parish Meeting

This evening, the temporary Community Centre hosted Buckingham Park's first ever Annual Parish Meeting.  Cllr Allison Looker (Chairman), the Parish Councillors, and Mr Keith Gray (Clerk) were joined by a number of local residents and Nick Waldron, headteacher of Buckingham Park School.

The attendees heard a report detailing the work of the Parish Council in its first year and discussed current issues for the residents of Buckingham Park.  The Parish Council will soon be taking over the management of the new Community Centre on Jubilee Square.  Councillors had toured the building this week and were impressed with the facilities on offer.  The Parish Council has a commitment for the Community Centre to be run by the Parish Council for the local residents - what an amazing facility for Buckingham Park!  The Parish Council will soon be appointing a manger to lead the administration of the new building.
