The Food Hygiene scheme is run by local authorities in partnership with the Food Standards Agency. Each business or organisation serving food is given a ‘hygiene rating’ when it is inspected by a food safety officer from the local authority. At the end of the inspection, the business or organisation is given one of the six ratings. The top rating of ‘5’ means that the business was found to have ‘very good’ hygiene standards. And this is the rating achieved by Buckingham Park! We'd like to thank Hayley Jackson (School Business Manager), Jo Puddefoot (Catering Assistant) and Joe Lucas (Caretaker) who have taken the lead to ensure that we meet the very highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
