First Day for Buckingham Park's First Employee!

16/4/2012

Today is a landmark for our new school.  Although Nick Waldron has been working on aspects of the school development, alongside Governors and LA Officers, since his appointment in January, today was his official first day as an employee of Buckingham Park Church of England Primary School.

This term will be a little strange for Nick - having been a teacher for 18 years and a headteacher for 13 of those he is used to the everyday life of a busy school at the beginning of term.  Despite missing the everyday contact with children and families, Nick is excited to be full-time on the case of Buckingham Park.

"I am so pleased to be able to give Buckingham Park my 100% attention.  There is much to do, but it is incredibly satisfying to see the plans for the new school taking shape."

This week, Nick will be writing to the families of all those children who have already been allocated a place at the school, and will also be shortlisting candidates for the post of School Business Manager.

You can contact Nick on 01296 387644 or [email protected]
