In the bleak midwinter...

We'd like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their support on Friday.

Snowy weather is always difficult for schools but we will always try and open if we can.  That said, we do need to think about the safety of pupils, staff and families on and around the school site - as well as the impact of asking over 100 families to take to the roads when the police might be advising caution.

Our staff, some of whom live quite a distance away, made a great effort to get to and from school on Friday - involving some hair-raising journeys in some cases.
