![]() You may remember that we held a sponsored reading event in partnership with Usborne Books recently. In addition to rasiing funds for library books for our own school library, we also were able to donate, through Usborne, a large set of books for a new school library project at Nancefield Primary School in South Africa. Wendover Rotary and School Aid have worked together to fund the project. With a major effort from the two organisations and through the efforts of our children and families, Nancefield Primary in Eldorado Park, Soweto, has a wonderful collection of books for it's new library building which is almost complete (see picture). The roof should go on this week and then the shelving will be installed. The books have arrived and are being catalogued and the librarian is being trained. The library is likely to be called the Good Hope Library and a list of donors will be up inside the the building. Thank you for your support with this exciting project.
