'Virtual' meetings for 21st Century School

It seems appropriate that for a 21st Century school, our initial contact with parents has been through the virtual world of email, Twitter, Facebook and the school website.

Thank you to all those new parents and visitors who have contacted the school, to introduce themselves, to offer their support, to provide feedback and to raise questions.  We look forward to meeting you all, and our new children, in the 'real world' soon - in the meantime, we will keep in touch through modern technology and social media.

Mr Waldron comments, "I am confident that this is the first time that a new school in Buckinghamshire has been able to keep in contact with parents, families and the community in these ways - the last time that a brand new school was opened in the County these amazing tools had not been dreamed of.  This week I have discussed the IT infrastructure for the school with a number of suplpliers and  - Buckingham Park will be a place where children are well equipped to play their part in the digital age".
